I started this blog after realizing that if I did not have something like this I would most likely forget half of my adventures that I will have this year. I also wanted to be able to share my pictures and thoughts about all the different places I will travel to with anyone who wants to follow my travels. I plan to stay abroad for about 4 months or until I run out of money (whichever comes first).
I have always been very fond of the Latin culture and Spanish language and especially so after living in Costa Rica for 4 months for study abroad. I knew i had to go back down South after that trip and work on my Spanish and learn more about the different types of Latin culture. In case you were wondering what itchy feet stands for it’s a saying i picked up from a book i read called “Into the Wild” Basically the main character would say he had itchy feet every time he felt he was in one place for too long and had the need to travel.

I haven’t even been gone from work for even a month yet and I have already adjusted to this new life of traveling and not working so quickly... it's scary. I’ve been trying to plan this trip since March 2015, but i didn’t get around to actually booking anything until about a month before my last day at work. Because of my lack of planning i decided it would be nice to start my travels with something more inclusive than just hopping on a plan and taking off to South America (Not to mention my parents would probably lock me up and not let me leave if i said i was going to do this) I was having trouble on deciding which countries i wanted to see most and what i should do in them…. My friend Suzy who I met studying abroad in Costa Rica told me she wanted to travel somewhere with me, but could only come along for 2 weeks. We decided to book a trip to Peru after stumbling upon a deal online for 10 days in Peru that included airfare, transportation, hotels and some activities. We both agreed this would be perfect and with this we would not have to spend much time planning which is exactly what we needed with our busy work schedules. After this trip i will fly over to Argentina to take some Spanish lessons from there and just kind of figure things out from there.
I hope you enjoy!
**Also there may be quite a few typos since I've been writing these posts on the long bus rides :) **
