Miami

Today Suzy and I arrived to Miami since our flight to Peru will be leaving from here tomorrow. We hadn't seen each other in almost 3 years so it was a great reunion! It was my first time in Florida and I kind of had an idea of what to expect, but it was still a bit of a culture shock for being in the United States still. We had dinner in a neighborhood that was completely covered by graffiti. We ubered over to an area that was known for fun bars and boy were we shocked. The bar scene was like nothing either of us had ever experienced before. They were so crowded and had dogs and a snake with crazy loud music bumping (not to mention this was a Sunday night, don't people usually go to work Monday?!) After people watching for a couple of hours we decided to get some sleep.
